It is quite realistic that in those days there were experimental models of electric motors. It was precisely because it was rare that they were included in the photo. After all, photography at that time was also, let’s say, not widespread and cost quite a long time. That’s why they filmed the very best. And about electricity. Nikola Tesla alone created in his life what an ordinary scientist of those years would have had to create at least over the course of a century. And it is quite possible that the author of these engines on scooters was one of the outstanding scientists and researchers of that time. But it did not go into production, into series, or into the masses for the same reason as the diesel engine, for example, on railway locomotives of the times when Rudolf invented it. Steam traction was used almost until the middle of the 20th century. They say that the technology has been proven, is clear and simple. But a diesel engine is a lot of problems. Oil refining, its production, efficiency itself (or efficiency), maintenance, wheel drive scheme, etc. It’s the same with scooters. There was no way to effectively store electricity, and the engines themselves were probably very power hungry. And if you believe the memoirs of contemporaries of those times, then Nikola Tesla was already able to transmit electricity through the air, he also created a “cart that moves without a horse and without a steam boiler,” etc.Natali_Natali: ↑21 Jan 2024, 04:43 for example, I thought that electric scooters appeared “just nothing” years ago... and I was very surprised that it turns out THEY WERE AT THE VERY BEGINNING OF THE 20TH CENTURY...
here I am now looking at photos of these autopeds and I don’t understand... they show us, not only in feature films, but in newsreels, photos of carts with horses, and all sorts of other things, so that we would immediately understand the backwardness of that time and then bam.

I’m not particularly strong in ancient photography technologies, but I think that this it was possible. Quite good optics for those times, and most importantly, not a small plate with high photosensitivity. And such a camera probably weighed more than a dozen kg. As for modern technologies, taking such photos (panoramic and with fairly high detail) is not a problem today. My father (and I together with him when I was still little) took panoramic photos on a Zenit 11e and printed them on a UPA-509 enlarger. Yes, this is gluing, and the process itself is quite painstaking, but the photos turned out very well.Natali_Natali: ↑20 Jan 2024, 09:22 people. to take a photo like this now you need not only professional equipment, but "Martian".

Long exposure. Moreover, it is quite long. I think about 5-10 minutes. Therefore, people and smoke (moving objects) are not visible. As an example, photographs with red and white stripes on the road instead of cars. There are lanes, but the cars themselves are not. Moving subject and long exposure. And these photos of St. Petersburg were probably taken at dusk, or through darkened glass (a light filter).Natali_Natali:30 Jan 2024, 03:16 photos of the city in 1861 and in them NO PEOPLE.... I found only a few people.... no smoke above the houses,

if you are talking about that photo.. then there is a whole regiment there (from 900 to 1500 people, and sometimes and more). And all this mass of people was taken in one photo!!!! ONE. I don’t remember now, or rather I can’t find where there was an article about this photo on the Stolen Hisеory (Stolen History) forum... the forum servers were crashed several times and a lot of materials were lost there... but it was about this photo that people wrote that the photo was then it was simply impossible to do... the peculiarity of the original photograph is that it can be zoomed in to such an extent that you can see the smallest details of the face and uniform of any soldier from those in the photo... zoomed in without losing the quality of the photo

It’s just a costume. Who they worshiped and what they believed in can no longer be explained. But if you take the photo in color, then everything is not so scary

Surely a huge lens, and also a large negative with high light sensitivity. By the end of the 19th century, this was more than possible. In general, the 19th century can rightfully be called the century of photography. Photo technologies were developing by leaps and bounds in those days. And there were quite a few experimental devices and materials. To capture this regiment, the camera must have been huge, expensive and unique. And the actual placement of the soldiers and preparation for the photo took quite a bit of time. It was all possible to do this at the end of the 19th century - the beginning of the 20th.Natali_Natali: ↑12 Apr 2024, 13:08 if you are talking about that photo... then there is a whole regiment there (from 900 to 1500 people, and sometimes more). Here, in my opinion, there is nothing unusual. The technology of building houses from large-diameter logs has been known since ancient times. Finns, Karelians (and Scandinavians) built houses from large diameter logs. And now they also build houses from similar logs. In any case, it is easier to build than a large ship made of wood, or an Egyptian pyramid.Natali_Natali: ↑20 Jan 2024, 08:55 by the way, here is another house.... you also think when you look at it...

They destroy what they can, hide what they cannot, or come up with complete nonsense that supposedly explains everything to us.
Napoleon Medal for the capture of Moscow

https://i.postimg.cc/MKsSCxVy/medal-napoleona-za-vziatie-moskvy-foto-1.jpg
about this "house" I remember that people there wrote not about construction technology... but about the fact that it miraculously supposedly "accidentally" burned... and there were a bunch of other "artifacts" that burned by accident... there they emphasized that it was not beneficial for anyone to have specific buildings, structures, etc. reach us. , because they do not fit into the official historical doctrine...cherry_man: ↑12 Apr 2024, 13:33 here, in my opinion, there is nothing unusual. И учитывая, что это медаль, и изготовлена не на современном оборудовании, то вполне можно допустить неточности отображения элементов ввиду их малых размеров.
Don’t bother. Everything is fine! It is interesting to communicate with you, because a person who thinks and asks questions is a priori an interesting person.
