Why do private messages end up in the Outbox folder and are not sent?

Hello. When sending a personal message on the forum, all letters first go to the outbox folder. And then only to sent ones. Some emails are never sent and remain in the outbox forever. And some are sent, but with a long delay. Is this a feature of this forum? Or can I configure it so that messages are sent immediately?

Kcirtap, if sent items are in the sent folder, they are read by the recipient . If it still appears in the outbox, it means the recipient has given you a hard time
