Well, being trans is expensive, especially in post-Soviet countries. Accordion, surgeries, cosmetology, support from a psychologist/therapist, many spend a lot on drugs. Some countries have government programs that partially cover the transition, but it is still a hefty sum. And in our post-Soviet countries they can be killed on the street; they can hardly go to regular work either. Trans people are far from the happiest people and statistics show that rarely do any of them live to be 40 years old.
