I think it definitely depends, I’m on a phone, the browser is chrome. It also depends on the phone model. But I finally found a solution for myself, now I just manually (not using the link under the form) open the post images website and there, when you upload a picture, a bunch of links appear for inserting anywhere, including to the forum. And you can copy and paste the received link yourself.
