Is it worth doing the "pirate glasses" exercise? Question about eye gymnastics.

The screenshots show the essence of the exercise. It makes me suspicious as to whether this will make my vision worse? After all, a closed eye is not used. Who ever did such gymnastics - what are your impressions? And also - there are truck drivers here with poor eyesight - how comfortable is it for you to work and how difficult was it to get your license?
P.s. The screenshots are becoming inconsistent. I don’t know why that is.
