People, I know that there is already a topic on books, but I am interested in a specific genre. I love sci-fi (Science fiction). Share your favorite books/series of books.
Lately I’ve been hooked on LitRPG, you can also post here (preferably already completed cycles)
As is usual here, I’ll start the first one.
Acquaintance with the genre, like many others, began in early youth. When I was 12 years old, I read "Season of Mists" by Gulyakovsky.
The book just blew my mind. I was so crazy that I then voraciously devoured all the author’s books in a month.
Especially cool:
Alien Spaces
Conquest Strategy
Red Shift
Games of the Sixth circle
Sentries of the universe
The record was during the holidays: one book a day, and that’s 550-600 pages for a moment.
Who has a similar experience?)

Recommend something literary)
I read Heroes of the Lake District, a cool series about virtual sea battles
It’s a pity, I don’t live in a time when they come up with all these virtual reality capsules, I would just get out of there to eat ))

At one time I got hooked on S.T.A.L.K.E.R and read it with rapture.+ - I put 20 books on my paycheck, and + I read quite a few of them in the electronic version while I was running around on shifts. And now I somehow abandoned this matter, unfortunately (

A series of books by the Strugatskys about the world of Noon. Perhaps I’ll list:
“Afternoon, XXII century”, “Attempt to escape”, “Distant Rainbow”, “It’s hard to be a god”, “Inhabited Island”, “Baby”, “Guy from the Underworld”, “ A beetle in an anthill" and "Waves extinguish the wind"
A world in which I would like to live. We screwed up the first attempt to build it by the end of the 80s. I hope we will return to that path.

Well, it’s not always slag, but their cinema is still developed. And about "Foundation" a long time ago, in the early 2000s, I worked in security and could not sleep at night, and I came across a book, such a simple, old one, in soft cover, I think I’ll read it. Crap!!! "Psychohistory", "psychoanalysis", I was blown away by all this! Honestly, I’d probably rather not read anything from science fiction.

Oh yes, I remember. The world of victorious communism looked very interesting.
I especially remember from the Strugatskys "Monday begins on Saturday" Naina Kievna is simply a standard example of a grandmother)

By the way, how do you like the last arc with Leo?)

The House That Teal Built is an incredibly cool story (not a book) about the four-dimensional dimension in the science fiction genre. I don’t remember the author.
