As a bookseller, I am interested in literature and read quite a lot.
Lately, my colleague and I have become hooked on literature. Maybe someone will be interested in our preferences.

- "Snuff" Chuck Palahniuk.
The legendary porn actress ends her career. And I decided to do it in an extremely shocking way. She’s going to have sex with 600 men. The story is told by several men and, of course, the actress. Everyone has their own story "how I came to live like this", and their own thoughts about what is happening.

- "Connecting Rods" Yuri Mamleev.
Grotesque underground novel from the 60s of the Soviet Union. What is happening around is just kind of surreal. The main character kills people from time to time, he lives surrounded by some madmen - a guy who is himself, a couple who, through sex in the last stages of pregnancy, gets rid of the child (by punching the child’s head with a huge penis, through the place from where he should get out soon), and so on and so forth.
But this novel is for intellectuals, like all the novels on the list.

- "Tropic of Cancer" Henry Miller
Countless sexual adventures of the protagonist, autobiographical and fictional. Most readers called the book disgusting, vulgar and perverted. Although in fact, only the vulgarity was noticed by those who were so mired in it that they did not notice the real meaning.

- "Naked Lunch" by William Burroughs
This work looks less like a novel and more like the notes of a crazy sadist and pervert. The most disgusting and most reliable book about drug addiction.

And for dessert, what I have to read soon.
- "After the End" Yuri Mamleev
The future after the end of the world, on the eve of the next end. There is no spirituality in society; literature, art, and religion are prohibited. But pedophilia, bestiality, murder and cannibalism are allowed. Again, like all of Mamleev, this is metaphysics, an attempt to understand the human essence and the human soul. The world, what it can become if people turn away from all moral norms.

I hope it was interesting to read. And some of this will interest you. And we will continue to look for "disgusting" and "frightening" works.

Dear Finush,
From your list, I was lucky enough to get acquainted only with the “great and terrible” Henry Miller. Of course this is a classic of the genre. And perhaps, in those days (when the book was written), the text could be classified as “Literary Tin.”
But, times change, today it is just outright erotica.

If today you give your preference to literature “with pepper”, then let me recommend you my book:

"Angel of Lust" Elena Radvi
A novel about the erotic passions of a woman. Despite the frankness of the scenes, the author does not lose his sense of proportion.
