Labels

Many women are offended when labels are attached to them - board, chick, skin, pacifier, doll.

Many men get angry when labels are attached to them - felt boots, goat, pepper, wallet, frame.

People need metaphors because they make communication easier. This is fun on the edge, but with its help we cover the need. Thousands of jokes are based on metaphors, including those with offensive connotations. If they are eradicated from use, speech will become sterile. The problem is not in the labels themselves, but in the attitude towards them.

I am thick-skinned in this regard. I don’t care about gender bullshit. If a person has built a witty joke using stereotypical labels, come on, bro, make more. And I don’t pay attention to those who stupidly load people into compartments because of their limitations. Call me a tin can - just think what it says about yourself.

Do you get angry when people label you?
