My father has a friend whom he calls a friend. He doesn’t call his other friends: Oksana, Alla, Marina, Larisa that way, but he did call her. I asked: Is this your girlfriend? He said: No, this is my girlfriend. How can I understand? Like, the girl is a friend, in the sense that she is younger than all the other friends? She’s probably 10 years younger than them. Otherwise I don’t understand what the difference is.
