My list of qualities is not long. A real man should be reliable, kind, smart and with a healthy sense of humor. This is what I personally want to see in men.

There is probably not much difference between what a man should be like now and what they wanted him to be like before.
I think the expectations are the same. This is reliability, inner strength, kindness, an important quality is worldly wisdom (but it is desirable for women to have this as well). And it would be nice to have a sense of humor and a positive outlook on life’s difficulties, these are additional bonuses.
