Does it make sense to date a forty-year-old at 28?

We have a guy at work (he’s about 42-45 years old), and he asks me to date. He promises that he will “carry me in his arms,” take me to his place (I live in a rented apartment, not a Muscovite), and that I will have such sex that I will “forget about everything in the world.” So he is a serious man, but I doubt about the last one. Still, for me he is old. Is it worth agreeing to this?
